Sauce

  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp yellow mustard

Instructions
 

  • Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium-high heat. Drain any excess grease.
  • Transfer the browned beef to the crock pot.
  • Add ketchup, brown sugar, and yellow mustard to the crock pot. Stir to combine.
  • Cover and cook on low for 3–5 hours (or high for 2 hours), stirring once halfway through.
  • Serve warm on toasted hamburger buns.

Notes

For extra flavor, stir in diced onions or bell peppers before cooking. Double the recipe for larger crowds or portion and freeze leftovers.
